Hi everyone,

Please I need help on this. My husband is just about to receive his letter confirming his completion of studies from his Msc Program. He currently works (part time) as a customer service representative in a bank.
I am on an open work permit. I currently have a permanent full time job. We have two kids here with us, the elder on a study permit and the younger (less than 5) on a visitor visa. We are just about to apply for extension of our visas and are quite confused on how to go about it. All our current visas will expire November 30th, 2018.

1. Is my husband supposed to apply first? what method? flagpoling or online?
2. How am I supposed to extend mine? after my husband gets his pgwp?
3. Am I applying with the kids?
4. Will my husband's NOC affect his application? Can he skip his employment details If it will affect the application? It's a part time job.

I will really appreciate answers and any other information to support our application. Thank you.

Your husband needs to apply for pgwp. Then he must find a job. If the job is o, a or B he can then apply for your owp once he has 3 pay stubs. You can extend the permit for your minor child at the same time as your owp. Your child in college/university is a independent issue. When does his or her visa expire?

Hi

1. Your husband can apply for his PGWP online.

2. Unless his current job is NOC A, B or 0, you do not qualify for another work permit right now. You can continue working on your current permit until it expires. If and when he gets a skilled job, you can apply for another OWP.

3. Apply for the kids extensions with him.

4. It doesn't matter what his job is. The PGWP is based on completing a study program.
