PGWP rules for international students.

I am a student and would graduate with an MBA degree (2yrs Public Univ) in the month of May 2016. I want to delay my post graduate work permit application for 2 months.
Is it recommended to delay the application for PGWP? If yes, by how many months/days?
I want to apply for my PGWP from India, would that lead to any rejections?
