Pgwp refusal

Hey guys , I would just like some suggestion, or time line regarding my case if someone has went through the same , I have applied for My pgwp last year may, and I got rejection in March,stating my school is not eligible for pgwp, which is not true, it's officer mistake, I hired a consultant and he filed reconsideration request on my behalf, he filed on 15th marxh and its almost 25 days we have not received any update , I called ircc they said they have not received any webform , anyone have applied reconsideration in March? Any1 got any update plz share your timeline , like neither me nor my lawyer got anything on our portal , plz suggest. Thanks in advance

That is awful. It does seem like IRCC is issuing lots of refusals at the moment and it is unclear whether this is their strategy to reduce the backlogs. I have gotten no updates to my PGWP extension (due to my passport's premature expiration) since I applied in Dec 2021. I am curious to know how you have gotten through to IRCC via telephone, for I have been trying for the past 3 months with no luck. Please advise.

That is awful. It does seem like IRCC is issuing lots of refusals at the moment and it is unclear whether this is their strategy to reduce the backlogs. I have gotten no updates to my PGWP extension (due to my passport's premature expiration) since I applied in Dec 2021. I am curious to know how you have gotten through to IRCC via telephone, for I have been trying for the past 3 months with no luck. Please advise.

Call them exactly at 8 am u will be at 1 hour waiting line , I know few of my friend who has applied in Feb 2021 they did not get anything so December is still too early , rejection reason sometime does not make sense , they throw me out of status saying my school is not approved for workpermit, like they gave 100 of student work permit from our school it's even on their website our school is eligible for pgwp

That is unbelievable that the institution is now ineligible for PGWP. I feel like they are using AI or some sort of untested filtering system. I'd sue them for the unjust rejection.

According to latest report ircc Edmonton had last year go on Twitter search ircc Edmonton, look at tags they had last year 28% wrong decision given, I don't know what's immigration doing , they are destroying our future, I paid like 70,000 $ for my overall studies and I have to go back to my country for just one officer mistake , it's very shifty situation to be in , but it is what it is I have to accept it ,
