Hi I applied on April 24 and still waiting we have so much of people waiting alongside

My PGWP took six months when I applied for it. I applied in May 2015 and got it by November 28, 2015.
I didn't not get any updates in my cic account so had to call them couple times. Good luck! You will get it as long as you applied right

Hi Guys,
My visa is approved.
Applied on 24 April 2017 in chennai VFS and by 26 April 2017 my file went to Bangalore VAC, my medicals passed on 29 May 2017, and By June 6,2017 My visa got approved.. it took 6 weeks..

I got my visa approved on June 6,

People who have alplked for study permit through B'lore visa office:-
Please note that Visa office not intimating about issue of visa either thru sms or by updating. Though it shows "under process", The visa is issued and passport sent to residence or concerned VFS.
SO DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE DELAY IN UPDATION.
THE CASE SITED ABOVE HAS OCCURED TODAY. I MEAN THE VISA/PASSPORT IS DELIVERED AT HOME TODAY WHICH WAS APPLIED ON 15TH MAY.

Yes, you can work after apply to PGWP. If you applied for PGWP you are in the implied status, what means you are under PGWP rules until they make a decision.
