PGWP (Outland application) help

I am applying for my PGWP from India. The processing time is almost 51 weeks and I have heard for some it took even long than estimated. Just curious to understand If I get my PGWP confirmed in the meanwhile I decide not to travel or move to Canada and stay in my home country. What will happen then? will I have to let IRCC know? please help.

You do not have to let iRCC know. Once you have a PGWP, you have to apply for a TRV again to enter Canada. If you are looking to seek employment from outside canada on a PGWP, I am not sure of the current scenario
