Hello

I have finished a one year master's level education from Canada and have the PGWP which is NOT going to expire anytime soon. I also have an employment offer from a reputable firm.

I now want to apply for a PR and thought of using the FSWP stream. However in this case to support my FSWP do i need a LMO?
I did not require the LMO for my PGWP. So am confused if i need the LMO or not for the process of PR via FSWP.

Any inputs will be appreciated.

Thanks

Yes - you need an LMO to apply for FSW if you are applying through the FSW with job offer stream.

You don't need an LMO or AEO if you are applying under the FSW with a job offer. You are exempt from this because you have a PGWP. This is for applications received after June 26, 2010. Some of the other categories that are exempt are NAFTA and intra-company transfers. Check the following link. Scroll down to page 28, section 9.14 (2). Rest easy.

Thank you for the official document and your reply. I read through the section mentioned by you and it seems i dont need the LMO.
