I'm applying from Oman for a PGWP. If my PGWP gets approved, do I need to apply for a TRV, or will I get one once automatically? Also, Did anyone apply from Oman, and how long did it take?

you will need to apply for TRV to enable you to travel if the one you have has expired.

"For post-graduation work permit applications submitted from outside Canada, a TRV is issued upon approval of the post-graduation work permit." Thank you for your response. I need to clarify; according to the gov website, the TRV is issued upon approval of PGWP. Does this mean I still need to apply for it?

If that is the case, then you do not need to have separate application for TRV.
