Hi,
After finishing the 2 year MSc degree, I had to travel to India urgently. For the entire 90 days duration for applying for the PGWP, I will be in India. So, I apply for the post-graduate work permit from outside the country of 'current residence'.
The form however, gives no option to change the residence country from Canada. Also, the duration of current residence date is not allowed as a past date (when I left Canada to enter India). It says it should be greater than today and also the end date of my immigration status in the current country of residence.
Is my visit to India counted as a visit and not a current residence?
Anyone with the same experience would like to throw some light on this?
Thanks !
