I know there are a lot of PGWP Extension posts but I've browsed the forum quite a bit and didn't find an answer to my specific issue.
I received a 3 year PGWP in 2013. After graduating I had a very difficult time finding work. After 6 or 7 months of working as a line cook while looking for something in my field of study, I got desperate and accepted a job offer teaching English in Asia.
That was 2 years ago and I’m coming back to Canada as I always intended to, to try again.
My PGWP expires in August however. I barely even used it.
Is there any recourse for me to regain those 2 years (extend? Renew?) Or have I simply wasted this once-in-a-lifetime work permit?

once in a lifetime i am afraid the PGWP itself cannot be extended and is only available once even if you applied for a new study permit

No recourse to regain, extend or renew. The opportunity is gone for you.
