PGWP - Extension New Passport

Hello Everyone,

I am eligible for a 3 year work permit - however, I received a Post Grad Work permit only til May 2019 ( Till my passport expiry date). I have a new Indian passport now - I am currently in India and now will be travelling to Canada in few days. (Have a valid TRV).

Can I get my PGWP extension at port of entry? or I have to apply online once I am in canada?

Any ideas?

how did you apply../ Online application ? or paper application or port of entry...??

I know you're looking for answers but have you figured out what to do? I have a friend who is contemplating extending his PGWP at port of entry this weekend

Hey! Did your friend get the extension?

No he didn't. They told him they weren't gonna be able to issue it to him, it has to be done online. So he plans to apply online or by paper about 30 days prior to expiry.
