Hi,
I have applied for my study permit extension in November 2019 because it was going to expire on 31 December 2019. Still now my application is in process and i finished my studies in January 2020. Am i eligible to apply for PGWP even i am on implied status?
Your answers will be much appreciated.

Yes according to the most recent update.

But you won't be eligible to work (and I assume you have stopped working) till your PGWP is processed and approved.

Thanks for the reply

So when i went to apply online PGWP they ask the question what is your current status in canada? It don't give any option of implied status. I am little confused there. What should i do? Need help

Well, you maintain your status till your application is processed. So in that case, your status remains as a student. But, you may want to write a letter of explanation alongside the application to explain why you are taking that step.
