In Fall 2020, I got exempted from doing a coop term due to being out of Canada and being unable to secure a job in Canada because of the then economic status. On my unofficial transcript, it says that I was granted a work term exemption and states "COVID-19 impacted ability to obtain employment for fall 2020 work term. Student can graduate with one fewer work terms.". However, on my official transcript, this isn't mentioned anywhere. My school also refuses to provide a letter stating that I was exempted. In that case, can I show my unofficial transcript and emails as proof that I was exempted from this requirement? People advised to apply for PGWP using flagpole method in order to explain this to the officers. Did this happen to anyone recently?
