What if a person does 2 years PG/Diploma/Certificate Courses and their passport expires in 19 months after the course ends.
Here is the hiccup:
1. Indian passport can only be renewed prior to 12 months of (the approaching) expiry date.
2. PGWP - will be issued for 3yrs but the passport has to be valid for 3yrs. In this case, it ain't so. So PGWP will be reduced to the length of passport. Example: 18months or less. (Not for 3 yrs full)
Now the big question is, if the candidate gets a PGWP for say 18 Months, then middle of which he renews passport - Will he still be able to get the pending duration added to make-up for this 3 Year PGWP? How does the law do justice in this case.
