I am a final year student (Graduating April 2022) with my study permit extended and valid until December 2022. My current Visa, though, is expiring on April 30. Now, I will be applying for PGWP in May (When I get my final grades).

Normal processing times for PGWP is 134 days at this moment, which would mean I will get mine around September/ October. My family situation warrants me to visit India in September 2022. At that time, I might or might not have gotten my PGWP. In any case, I would definitely not have my TRV. So, my questions are:

1. Should I apply for TRV today, as I could get a TRV until December 2022. However, it would state "Student" status. Since my studies finish in April, would I be able to pass immigration being a PGWP holder?

2. Should I die?

I would appreciate other options for my situation, and will bring you spices and clothes from India when I come back in September :D
