Hello all,
I have a follow up question regarding my question posted here:
I have already applied for PGWP. Should I send a webform and say that I am on maintained status? Because in the TRV forms I had selected “Returning Student”, but I am no longer a student. I am very confused about how these two applications will be handled by IRCC, because inland TRVs are usually tied to some valid study or work permit.
I have a follow up question regarding my question posted here:
Hello All,
I am a student with a valid study permit until 2026 that applied for an inland TRV in February 2024. It’s been more than a year (!) and my application is still stuck in background check. I ordered officer notes last week.
Also, I am graduating soon and I want to apply for a PGWP. Will there be a problem if the TRV application is still in progress? What if I renew my passport for PGWP purposes? Then my TRV application would be based on the old passport. Should I withdraw the TRV application? Will I have implied status if the study permit is still valid?
