You are hiding information but want help at the same time.
Your case has probably been sent to local office for further investigation due to the same issues you are hiding here, local investigation can take a very long time unfortunately and covid probably made that worse.
GCMS notes as advised is a good idea also have you called and sent webforms to IRCC?
You could also consider reaching out to your local MP they can talk directly to immigration.
You are also on implied status so you can work same as you had the permit and this work will count towards PR points if it qualifies so you are actually getting extra time, but it sucks because some employers dont cooperate and you cant get health insurance.

What do you want to know as you have been asked questions and not answered. Why did a one year program take two years to complete? you have ordered GCMS notes So you will know in 30 days.

Sorry my brother, there is nothing to hide from one who will bathe you clean. I might be a victim of ignorance having been advised unknowingly.
I missed two semesters and reapplied for another study permit to enable me complete the program which was approved and expired in July 2019. Applied for restoration of status within 90days before applying for PGWP. Please what is the best approach or advice at such a moment. Really nothing to hide

If you took a two semester break in your studies, then you should assume the PGWP is going to be refused.

GCMS notes take 30 days to arrive.

Then your permit should be refused because you aren’t eligible for a PGWP. If you had just stated this at the beginning then we would not have gone through all these posts. There is nothing to do but wait.

So you missed 2 semesters in the course you applied to PGWP with? That is obviously against the rules but I don't see why that would cause them to send it to local office, would have been simple for them to straight reject your PGWP, so there might be some hope.

Really don't understand my situation and like someone said, am still on implied status but some others has contrary view. Jan28th was the last official email directing the file to Edmonton. Have also contacted my MP who have graciously followed the case and on two occasions emailed me of their response - file still in process with Covid-19 as the delaying factor. Never knew of GCMS up on till you guys mentioned it here...to which I remain grateful

You are on implied status until a decision made by IRCC.
