PGWP and BOWP

Hi all,

My work visa is due to expire in March.

I've applied for my PGWP which I'm awaiting results back from CIC and also applied BOWP for my PR application so I can continue working.

If for whatever reason my PGWP is refused would this have any negative effect on my BOWP?
Can I still work while I wait for my BOWP as I'll be on implied status?

Your post is confusing. If you're on a work permit now - you wouldn't qualify for a PGWP. You have to be on a study permit to qualify for a PGWP.

I have a study permit and a work permit that are both due to end in March. Sorry forgot to add that in.
