PGWP and Biometrics

Hello,

When applying for PGWP, do you need to submit biometrics straight away? Or do they request them later?

I am asking because my wife has an ongoing job on campus and she needs to apply for PGWP as soon as she receives program completion notification (it has to be the same day). But this might be late to quickly arrange for collecting biometrics.

Does anyone know how this goes?
