PGWP after 12months/3 semester Masters degree.

Hello friends i just heard that some people got 3 years of PGWP after doing 1 years(3 semester) of the Masters degree from university. Is this true ? how much PGWP you got seniors ....Thanks

Master's is always 2 year program. Whether you finish it in three sem you will get 3 year work permit.

I think the way it works is, the certificate you get from your college stating the duration of the program is considered not the semester wise. Say if you do a program of 3 semesters but it's back to back 3 semesters and completes in 1 year so the certificate you get says 1 year program and basis that you get 1 year work permit.

Now what actually is work around it is; 1 year program ( of two semesters ) and another program of 1 semester (after completion of first program) gets 3 years work permit. Recently, two of my friends got the 3 years work permit by applying this method.

To be very precise the course is 3 semester(windsor) masters and people mostly do it in 1 year.but according to university it can be done with in 5 years .So i dont know what the procedure is .
