PGP - passport request letter

We received the passport request letter and we sent the principal applicant's passport (my father) to VFS office in New Delhi on June 13th however due to a confusion we missed to include my mother's passport (co-applicant) in the VFS package. Now what should we do.?

Should we wait until my father's courier package comes back or should we send co-applicant's passport in a separate courier right away because otherwise we will miss the 30 days max time limit to submit her passport?

Someone please share their experience as soon as possible.

Probably send the mother's passport in a separate courier right away or within the 30 days limit.

Thanks. But worst case scenario if the package is received at IRCC later than the 30 days limit, then what happens in that case? Can we request PGP office to re-issue the passport letter? How does that work and how long it may take or is there any other recourse?
