Hello everyone,

I applied for my parents in 2020, got the invite in sept 2021. Only to realize later for 2018 my income is 20000$ (I moved to canada the same year and worked for just a few months) I misunderstood the income requirement as my package that year. Def my bad.
However, i am thinking to still apply and i already have everything ready. I am planning on getting my t4s early 2022 and returns as well early 2022 - so they may consider my 2019, 2020 and 2021 income. And not 2018. would that help me be elligible for sponsoring my parents.
Additionally- i have steady income since 2018 way over the minimum limit each year. my husband is co signing as well.
Does this make my application stand a chance? Is it worth applying? any other sugestions are also appreciated!
Thanks for any suggestions in advance.

Your application has no chance of being approved. Refusal is guaranteed since you don't meet the mandatory requirements to sponsor. No point submitting the application.

If you decide to do that, you will miss 2022 interest to sponsor. Or even that of 2023.

You cannot submit another application until your currnet one is approved/rejected/withdrawn.

Is your husband co-signing? Was he in Canada in 2018?

No. It does NOT help. The process is transparent. The rules are clearly defined in advance. Even one Dollar less will make it ineligible. why would they twist the rules for you? IRCC is answerable to audit and compliance too.
