PGOWP and OWP, which one to renew?

hi there, my wife is holding a Post Graduate Open Work Permit and she is going to renew it as we are about to apply the in-land spouse sponsorship app. What type of work permit should she renew? Is that Post Graduation Work Permit or Open work permit?

Post graduate work permits cannot be renewed.

If she wants to continue working after her PGWP has expired, her employer will need to obtain an approved labour market opinion and then she will have to apply for a closed work permit.
