I'm an Electrical Engineer in Brazil planning on moving to Canada next year (2025).
My desire is to immigrate, so the only option I have right now is going starting a PG or MBA and then applying for PR.
I've been searching tirelessly about which one should I choose but I've heard mixed opinions on this and it's just confusing me even more.
I know the 1 year programs only give me a 1 year of PGWP, so I'd chose a 2 year program to be safer. But which one? I'm also speaking about future job opportunities, there's no point in spending money on something that won't make my paycheck bigger in the future.
Some of the things people tell me are:
"MBA will only be worth if you do at University of Toronto; if you study somewhere else it's useless"
"PG is better than MBA"
"PG will give you the same job opportunities as MBA"
"MBA will make it easier for you to apply to Express Entry, while PG won't do anything"
Any help is appreciated.
