Why should my citizenship be worth less than other Canadians, just because my mom was born in a different country and I'm a dual citizen? Nobody should be a second-class Canadian, no matter where their family comes from.

Canada is all about diversity. Many Canadians were born in other countries or are citizens of other countries because of their family history – and all of us are 100% Canadian.

Thank you for the bump guys. I thought of doing it myself.

Also the pending signs required to achieve the target has drastically come down now. I would like to think that our forum members helped in that at least in a little way. It was at 3000+ mark yesterday, right now I see it at 193. Way to go, hopefully we get our voices heard and get our objectives fulfilled.

I've signed this petition... and frankly not sure why would anyone not sign it too
But each one has the right to do whatever he/she likes ...

You might get convicted within a malfunctioning court system (eg Egypt, Syria ..etc..)... in that case a government "officer" can simply strip you from your Canadian citizenship! :'(

A journalist (Australian) is being asked to pay $180,000 BEFORE he even looks at evidences convecting him at the court!

The point is... It could happen to anyone... this poor guy was doing his job (he was a reporter), and now being on trail for contributing in terrorism acts!
