Personal IDs for Minors

Hello Guys,

For the Personal ID for the minor, I have PR Card and Health Card (Alberta without Photo) for my 5 year old son. Since in the document Check list it is already mentioned that we have to attach the PR Card, is that okay if I send one more copy of the PR Card and Health Card as his Personal ID?

Taken from the IRCC website, These other ID can work too to be on the safe side. You might want to include,

Two (2) pieces of the child’s personal identification

Both pieces of identification should show your child’s name and date of birth, one of which must have a photo on it.

Examples include:

· school record

· health insurance card

If there is information on both sides of your child’s personal identification documents, provide a photocopy of both sides.

For a child under school age, identification such as:

· a passport page containing his or her photo and personal details, or

· a hospital or immunization record, may be provided

Format: Clear and legible photocopy

I included my kids passport copy, health card (no photo), pr copy and copy of confirmation of pr. Received AOR November 16th.

I have attached my son's Passport Copies (Expired and New one - No Gaps), PR Card Copy, School Record, Health Card (No Photo), Copy of COPR. Sent on November 5, 2017 delivered November 9, 2017. Waiting for the AoR.

4 year back it was PR process tension and now Citizenship process .. looks like my whole life will finish in this immigration tension only ;):confused:

Not whole life. May be next 12 months. Since you are a PR they can't kick you out till you did a very serious crime ;). And there are millions from all over the world trying to come to this great country at least as a Visitor
