Hi All,

I have a couple of questions regarding this section, which I haven't seen clearly answered elsewhere. Thank you for all your help, hopefully I can return the favour one day :)

Question 1:

I spent a few years backpacking before I moved to Canada. I went to multiple cities (and/or various other places) in most of the countries I travelled to.

I plan on completing my personal history in a spreadsheet with the same same fields as on the IMM5669. Does it make sense for me to give the month and list all cities within the country that I visited? E.g. like this?

8. Personal History (Additional)

From To Activity City Country Status
2012-02 2012-02 Travelling Bogota Colombia Visitor
2012-02 2012-02 Travelling San Gil Colombia Visitor
2012-02 2012-02 Travelling Cartagena Colombia Visitor
2012-01 2012-02 Travelling Ipiales Colombia Visitor
2012-01 2012-01 Travelling Quito Ecuador Visitor

Question 2:
A similar question... When I first arrived in Canada, I had an initial job hunting period, before working miscellanous days between two temp agencies and before finding a full time position. Would this be a sufficient way to present this, or is it too much?

From To Activity City Country Status Name of company etc.,
2012-04 2013-01 Pirate Calgary Canada Worker Glenmore Reservoir
2012-02 2012-04 Administrative Assistant Calgary Canada Worker Mark Staffing
2012-02 2012-04 Administrative Assistant Calgary Canada Worker The Good Staff
2012-02 2012-02 Unemployed Calgary Canada Worker N/A
I will include an additional information column with the following note next to the admin positions containing the following:
Numerous very short term administrative temp positions worked during same period via Mark Staffing and The Good Staff.

How does that all sound? Thanks once again for all of your help with my questions, hugely appreciated!
Alan

Yes, the detail level is fine. I had done it exactly in the same way.

Just pay attention to the Status column in question 1. Was your status a Visitor in your passport when you were in those countries. So the point is - make sure your passport says the same thing. Im sure you must be checking it from there.

Question 2
If you were unemployed - was there something else you were doing - studying, vacationing - or perhaps it was that you were between jobs. in that case, perhaps unemployed is ok.

Overall its fine - your level of detail is perfect - just giving what they asked for.

All the best.
