~does it mean i cant leave ONTARIO to study, visit or live ?
~why does it say Ontario? immigration is Federal government
is this on other internatonal student study permit?

This means that you can study at any Designated Learning Institution in Ontario without the need to apply for a new Study Permit.

It's not uncommon to get these restrictions. If you want to study at a DLI outside Ontario, you will need a new study permit.

Also, once you've been admitted into Canada, you can of course visit any part of the country. You just have to maintain your status as a student - no one is stopping you from having a vacation in Banff.

thanks..can i visit the USA or i need a visa?..is it hard to get a visa to just visit the USA to see friends if im studying in canada..im from India.how long it takes to get visa. Same day or weeks?

Of course that depends on your nationality and those questions are better fit in a US VISA forum, not here.

Your study permit allows you to move freely anywhere in Canada provided you meet the conditions in it (such as be enrolled full-time), etc.
