Permanent SIN on the same day as landing interview

Hi guys,

I just wanted to let you know that I landed yesterday and was able to get my SIN straight after.
I was told that this is possible only for people from visa exempt country and provided that the CIC
agent stamps your passport, signs it and adds the COPR number underneath the stamp.
