Permanent Resident card renewal

Guys just want to ask about PR card renewal interview. I stayed in Toronto for 2 yrsfrom 2010 to 2012..Came back to India with entire family due to some issue.My PR card expired in 2015 applied in 2015 for new card.Today recied an interview letter which will be in toroTor on 24 April..it's not possible to go so early as need to apply travel documents..I just don't understand why interview in Canada..and if rejected then what..?
Imy family has completed 730 days.
Will I get thru interview??

So much paper work again. In 3 years I submitted a hell of documents to cic.gc.
I gave my relative address to cic.to ost my PR cards.but now interview..hope I get thru

Your post is confusing you start by saying you spent 2 years in the country 2010-2012 then you applied to renew your card in 2015 although usually cannot do that from outside Canada. Then you jump to an interview April 24 2018 so you are saying the renewal has taken from 2015 through 2018 ? As said PR card renewals assume someone is in Canada to apply hence the short notice .

Your family has completed 730 days , but when other than 2010-2012 which being more than 5 years ago is not relevant. The 730 days now must be in the last 5 years at time of entry back into the country.

Document list for a PRTD can be found on the CIC site but the application does ask for your activity last 5 years which can be a problem if not in Canada and could lead to PR being revoked.

Looks you will lose your PR status if you don't have any HC reason. You do can renew your PR on 2015 but you will have to stay in Canada physically and continue living there for 2 continues years....(Theorically, if you don't do this, you will lose your PR)
