Letter of Employment is more detailed. It has your job duties, justifying the NOC you applied in. Your hours per week.

So, what you should indicate is that you received 50 points for having a valid job offer?

You need to review this page:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...-after-january-1-2016-completeness-check.html

The Letter of Employment is written AFTER you have completed your work experience (minimum of one year). It describes your work experience, and has to have specific information - see the section, "Proof of work experience" -

The Job offer Letter is the letter confirming arranged employment - see the section "Letter of offer from the employer" - it is only required if you are claiming points for having a valid offer of (future) employment, and must
  • "include the following details: expected start date, commitment that the applicant will be employed on a continuous, paid, full-time work, for work that is for at least one year after issuance of a permanent resident visa, job title, duties and responsibilities, current job status (if current job), number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits."

They are completely different things:

Letter of Employment:

  • This or These is/are the ones you use to justify your previous work experience. This/these should prove you have at least 1 year (1560 hours on a period of 52 weeks or more) in any qualifying NOC in Canada.
  • This is a minimum Requirement and you MUST have it.
  • See the second point under the Minimum Requirements section in the following link: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ry/eligibility/canadian-experience-class.html

Offer of Employment letter:
  • This one is OPTIONAL but you must submit when you claimed points for arranged employment. If you don't, you'll lose those points and if you end up falling under the cut-off CRS score you will lose your ITA.

  • This one proves that you have arranged full-time employment for at least a year once you have received your PR. See the
Federal Skilled Workers and Canadian Experience Class section in the following link: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...express-entry/documents/offer-employment.html
Now the Question is, do you actually have arranged employment that meets the specs described in the link above? If so, you should be fine and just need to understand the difference between these 2.
