If my Wife extends her work contract in Kuwait for another 6 months, Would we still be able to apply for her PR in the Philippines? (she is a Philippine citizen, and has lived there her whole life owns a house).

Or would we have to apply through the Abu Dhabi office (they say its 2-3x slower).

You can indicate which office you would want to be processed. CIC can still decide to send it somewhere else, but if you show that you have more ties to the Philippines than Abu Dhabi, than most likely your file will be sent there. Just make sure that in your application you clearly state her ties to the philippines (house, family etc) - and that her stay in Kuwait is only temporary for work.

so basically what this means is, if shes in kuwait, but CIC does send the papers to the requested office(manila)
we will get the same processing time as in the Manila office right? That takes alot off my shoulders. i was worried about the 25-27month processing time at the Abu Dhabi office.

1 last quick question, So the forms we would fill up would be for Manila instead of Kuwait/abudhabi right? (the regional forms)
