Hello,.

I am a 2nd year International Student in Newfoundland. I have been here for a little over 3 years now and have another 2 years before I can graduate. Because I have been working part-time hours all these time; I was wondering If I qualify to apply for PR under any category before graduation ? I work at a recognized financial institution as a teller and worked as a associate for a retail firm previously. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks !

Work whilst on a study permit and in full time education cannot be counted towards qualifying for PR. You will need to apply for a PGWP when you graduate and get a job classified as NOC 0,A or B then apply once you have that experience.

Have you been a full-ime student all this time without interruption? You mention that you are a second year student but have been in Canada for over 3 years.
