I have several questions and wonder if anyone can help.

My situation is that my PR card runs out in August 2013 due to Separating from my Canadian Wife I have returned to the UK, I became a resident in july 2008 and lived there until july 2012. I only went out of the Country for approximately 80 days in in the whole time period. I wish to return To Canada at some point this Year.

1) Can I re apply from outside of Canada for my new card.
2) Can I Apply for Citizenship Having lived in Canada for more than the alloted days.
3) Can I receive any information from the US or Canada for definite dates when I crossed the Border.

Thank you for your time

A PR card application must originate within Canada. You could try mailing it to someone in Canada and having them mail it in for you. The rules say that you can not be denied solely on the basis that you are not in Canada yourself when you apply. Otherwise just leave it until you are back. If you are a UK citizen, visa exempt to Canada, you can still fly in with an expired card. Just don't show it when you board the plane, show it when you arrive at immigration and tell them you could not renew it because you were outside.

You must be residing in Canada when you apply for citizenship. Keep in mind that you must have been in Canada 3 out of the past 4 years when you apply. You are now outside Canada for 9 months. Once you are outside Canada for a year, you will not be able to have 3/4 years to apply until you have spent 3 years in Canada again.

Yes, you can order your travel history from CBSA, see http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/agency-agence/reports-rapports/pia-efvp/atip-aiprp/req-dem-priv-eng.html
