Hi everyone,

I am an international student who will be meeting all graduation requirements in 2 weeks (hopefully, still waiting for grades). I wish to get Permanent Residence and searched the internet and the forums but am still confused about what are the steps I should take to get it.

This is my status:
- Completing 4-Year bachelors in Computer Science at University of Toronto.
- Have completed a 16 month internship as well
- Have a full time offer as a Software Developer in GTA (starting end of Feb)

I know my next steps are to get Post Graduation Work permit. I previously thought I should apply for Express Entry after getting 1 year work experience after graduation. But my friend told me about the OINP (International Student with Job Offer) and am confused as to how that works and whether I need to apply for that too. Can someone please clarify and advise what I should do?

Program details are here:

If you have further questions it would make more sense to post them in the Provincial Nomination section of the forum.

First thing to do is apply for PGWP.

Be sure to pay fees ($155+100), filling properly all the forms, attaching all the requested documents and in time

We're reading in this forum too much cases of PGWP rejection due to issues with the application.

I recommend you to start working on PGWP application now.

After that prepare EE profile and PNP

Hi Everyone.
I applied for Express Entry, they have requested for "Details of Government Employee Form". What form is this and where do I download it from? I am clueless as to what information is being asked. Would appreciate your help!
