Hi you all, I have a question: A friend of mine just became PR recently (just 1 year, few months ago) and stay abroad for the last 7 months due to a relative sickness back home, regarding her status, is she going to have any immigration problem when she goes back to Canada. She´s planning to go back by April 2014 and by then will be 9 months abroad. Thanks for your response.

No, you have to reside in Canada for 2 years in every 5 year period.

Only thing can be problem is her Health Card status, if she didn't reside 183 days in one year.
