Permanent residence fee

Hi there

Does anyone know if cic requests permanent residence fee.. Does this mean visa is approved? We are applying for permanent resident visa under family class (spousal)
Any info would be greatly appreciated.. Thank you

Did they request for your passport? Usually it would mean its all good...why else would they need the passport for? Of course, they would check your passport to see if you've traveled to places while your app was in process, but other than that, it usually means that your PR is through. That's my 2 cents....don't know if others have any other experiences to share.

Yes they ask for passport and medical in december 2013... My wife had to undergo further medical.... Its all completed now and sent to immigration a week ago.. Now they ask for rights to permenent residence fee again... I paid it already in december... So i just emailed them back the reciept yesterday... But no word yet... The waiting game continues
