I was wondering if anyone could help me regarding the Permanent Resident Application. I am planning on returning to Canada using a travel document, because I was a minor when my parents forced me out of Canada, and I wish to go back. Now once I am in Canada, and I apply for the Permanent Resident Card, am I supposed to wait 2 years for my permanent resident to be renewed? and therefore means I'm supposed to stay in Canada all this time and I can't leave because I can only use the Travel Document once? Or does my permanent resident card get renewed when I submit the Permanent Resident Application but I should stay 2 years in Canada to keep it?
Once I am in Canada with my travel document, is it guaranteed that my Permanent Resident will be renewed provided I was a minor when I left? Or I might not get it renewed and maybe asked to leave the country or something?
