People with qualifications from the uk ?

I heard that foreigners with european qualifications don't face the same hurdles as people with foreign degrees from emerging nations . How true is this ?

There are many European emerging nations...

I would assume you mean first world European nations.... which is true, they don't face ANY problems.... and if you are Caucasian then you are in the other spectrum, a "desired" hire.

Thanks , It seems there is no rule of thumb for success in Canada. The reason I am also asking the question is that one of my friends graduated from the UK but most of his experience was in UAE , GCC. So he doesn't know what to expect

That is for sure not the best case scenario, but if he is a Caucasian from the UK then he should have no problem at all.
