When we applied for PR under CEC last year, we had a newborn baby, born in Canada. In the application I brought her name and give her information to CIC. We received the medical letter last month and send the medical results. Yesterday I got a letter for sending the passport for issuing visa. In the letter it says :

"We require a VALID passport for you and for each accompanying family member. Passports for you and
all accompanying family members must be submitted together."

For my baby I got the Canadian Passport and she is Canadian. Do I need to send her passport to CIC or no?

NO YOU DON'T NEED TO SEND YOUR CHILD'S PASSPORT. MY DAUGHTER WAS BORN IN CANADA TOO AND I GAVE HER DETAILS ONLY IN ADDITIONAL FAMILY FORM AS THE GENERAL FORM ASK ONLY ABOUT FAMILY MEMBERS WHO APPLY FOR PR WITH YOU. YOUR CHILD IS CANADIAN SO IT SHOULDN'T BE MENTIONED IN GENERAL APPLICATION.

Like you said - you need to send passports for the visa. But she has a Canadian passport therefore a visa is not needed! So you don't need to mail it.

No you don't need to provide photos of you child. As I mentioned before you have to add your child only to Additional Family Information Form Section B (IMM 5406)
They might ask for birth certificate letter but with your application you don't need to send any other documents regarding your child born in Canada.

Hi,

When CIC requested passport for visa stamping, I sent a physical letter and my son's Canadian birth certificates with our passports (mine and my wife's). I have received our passports stamped back with immigrant visas but i didn't get any confirmation if they looked at my son's birth certificates.

I am worried if they noted my family composition has changed. I didnt email to CPC-O as I was expecting my lawyer to do it as he said he will. Is there a way to confirm they have noted down my son's information.

I am worried if I will have problems during landing. Any advise.
