I am not sure about the extension letter but i already talked to my uni profs and they said if visa is delayed by one week i can still join then classes. Classes will start on 4th Sep and i can delay till 9th Sep. What about your friends they got their visas or not ?

No, he got rejected but i am still waiting for my decision. Also,i email to my university, they told me that The University is very committed to finding solutions to the students impacted by this dispute.

I dont think we can do anything. i mailed them three four times, they only replied once. i mailed after that, they did not reply. I guess we will just have to wait they do not answer mails or anything.

I emailed CIC yesterday about my current status and university are commencing soon, they replied me today that they made a decision on my application recently and they will send me a letter shortly for approval or denial. I have no idea what happen next and what are their decision has been made.
