Dear All,

I am an Occupational therapist working in Riyadh in the last stage of preparation of documents.

My agent wants me to submit resident Permit ( Iqama ). As we all know, the job category in Iqama and our original job is usually different.

Has anyone come across this problem? If so what did you do?

Thanks in Advance

i think its not a big problem..

but u need to rectify if u can...

else u can provide ur job id

You should not submit any document not asked by CIC. CIC does not want proof of your legal status in foreign country. Reference letter from your employer is good enough to describe your job responsibilities. This is my personal opinion based on my stay in various countries including gulf.

Just a clarification. If your country of Nationality is under a different visa office and if you want your application to be handled by London visa office, then you need to proof that you are resident in Saudi Arabia for more than a year. If you are a Pakistani then by default your visa office is London and hence I guess you don't need that.
