Hello,

I've checked the threads, could I please confirm this:

I have a pension account that my mom has thankfully been paying for ten years. if I inform them that I would like to stop paying the monthly payment and retrieve my money, there will be enough for the three family POF requirement amount.

So if I transfer all the money to my account- what are the documents necessary for POF:

a document by the insurance company that they have sent my pension money, and a bank statement?
will any extra document be required? will it be an issue that I have received all this money at once to my account? Is there anything specific I must be sure to state in either documents?

I am a PhD student and not working. My spouse is, but he only gets his monthly pay, we don't have any extra savings. I suppose it won't help to also add his bank statement in this situation as a document?

thank you!

By the way my spouse and toddler will be my dependents. And I have receieved admission from UBC in Vancouver with four year funding. Would it help to add the funding letter/a similar document as extra documentation?
