pending applications (waiting for MI) is updated as of when?

hi all,

I have a question.

it is almost an established fact in this forum that the first column ( number of applications counted towards the overall cap of 1000 ) in cap count status page ( http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp ) is about 3 months old figure.

now the question is: the figure in new column (pending applications - waiting for MI acceptance review ) would approximately be how old?

my docs reached CIC on 12 dec and I want to gauge my chances here. my noc is 2172.

No one knows for sure except CIC. So your question is impossible to answer.

they have even moved the cap status page. is there any other link where application cap status could be checked?

No - there isn't. CIC has taken down this page because Express Entry has started.
