PCC status

Hi all - I've applied for PCC from New York, USA. The current status of my application is "PCC application has been granted. Police Verification has been initiated. After the police verification report is received, PCC will be available for issuance."

Based on your experiences, how much time does it take for PCC to come through once the above message pops up on CGI website.

Once police verification is complete in India, the status will change to 'Police certificate has been printed". I'm not sure what will be status later. Im stuck at this stage.

I got mine in exactly a month. Basically, the police verification took most of the time. During this time, the status was something like - 'Police verification has been initiated.' The status changed to 'Police clearance certificate has been printed' after the PCC was issued.

This means that the certificate has been issued. You should check with consulate.

So did you get the PCC?

My passport is issued from NYC but looking at everyone's comment, I am assuming its going to take atleast a month to 1.5 months to process

Yes, I received my pcc only yesterday. I took easily 35 days though police verification finished earlier

Ohh OK...Great.. Should I start following up with them as there is no change of status since two weeks?

My police verification has done almost 3 weeks ago
I confirmed from PSK and they said police clear report has been received
But my status still shows under review at indian embassy and consulate
Please guide me what should i do at this point
