PCC might be delayed, need help or advice!

My situation is that I received the invitation on the June 12th draw. But I need to apply for the German PCC where I stayed for exchange study a few years ago, and am afraid of not getting it in two months. In case if that happens, what should I do?
Can I submit all the files except for the PCC and ask for an extension?
Any help or advice is appreciated! THanks

Yes. Submit proof that you have requested the PCC along with your application and explain that you're waiting for it.

IRCC will accept your application and will wait a reasonable amount of time for you to get it.
