I am an Italian citizen currently residing in Canada. I am confused as to where should I apply for a Certificate of Outstanding Criminal Proceeding. Should I apply to the Office of the Prosecutor of the Republic (Procura della Repubblica) of my place of residence or to any nearest Office?
CIC instructions are not clear about that:
"You do not need to go to the office closest to where you were born or where you live, however your certificate will only cover criminal proceedings and appeals at that office."
