Hi,

I requested for a PCC through a local police station for my wife from 2010 to 2020 (the time from when she turned 18) and the PCC provided details only of the last 5 years. Would it be better to rather apply from the passport office? Would we physically have to visit the passport office to obtain the pCC ?

Please advise.

Thanks,
WR

For Indian citizens based in India, the Express Entry website recommends that you get a PCC from the Passport Office.

A PCC issued by a Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) does not have a valid from date, and is thus acceptable to IRCC.
Yes, you will need to take an appointment online and visit the PSK, but the silver lining is that you will walk out in less than hour with a copy of the PCC.
