PCC from Canada?

Hi there,

My situation is this: I did my undergraduate degree in Canada and then left the country for about 2 1/2 years. I am now back to Canada doing a master. am I require to provide a PCC from Canada? How do I get it? do I have to wait until cic ask me to provide one? do I need a letter from cic in order to apply for one in Canada?

You will have to wait. The Canadian visa office will tell you if you need a Canadian criminal record check while your application is being processed.

Do we know at what stage (IP1 or IP2) they will ask for it, if at all? I am FSW-O with Canadian experience & am currently at IP1.

I can't say. It is rare that they will ask for it. You should not be worried, for if they ask they will give you plenty of time. But again chances are they will not ask.
