PCC FBI delaying

Hi there,

I got ITA 25 Jan. (25 April last day)

Waiting for PCC from FBI. It was successfully mailed out 30 Jan to my home address from FBI (I requsted it before getting ITA). It's been 5 weeks and I hadn't got it yet. I live in Kazakhstan. As for most people in this forum envelope delivers in 2-3 weeks or 4 is a maximum. Does anybody waited for more than 5 weeks just for mailing from US to your home address. Cause I am starting to be suspicious about it timely deliver.

Another thing is I worry if it can be lost by postals. It stops me from passing medical check as well. It is kind of a costly thing for me to pay fees for my family members, flights and hotel as medical inspection will be in defferent place, and I don't see a point to pass it, pay all fees and submit to eAPR without PCC which more likely to be rejected.

Currently I am confused and have options like:

1. Wait for PCC anyway, then pass medicals and submit application
2. Pass medicals, "possibly" receive PCC, submit application
3. Pass medicals, if PCC wouldn't arrive, submit application without it, attach email conversation with FBI about succesful PCC mailing out, bank statement of credit card charge 18$ and pray if that would work.
4. Decline application, re-request PCC from FBI and wait for another ITA

What would you suggest?

Id go ahead and do your medical exam and submit everything you have by April. If you don't have the PCC by then attach the receipt showing it's requested. CIC is aware of the wait and shouldn't reject your app as long as you show you requested t.

Yes, I read about it. That is the idea that dominates currently if PCC would not show up. but isn't it like case to case decision, mostly relied on VO condition/opinion.
Just you rough opinion in percent what are the chances of approving/rejecting application without US PCC, but some receipts of request? I understand that it is not a facts but thoughts.
I want to estimate chances not just have a hope for VO kindness, so want to make some possible predictions.


Does anybody waited PCC more than 5 weeks mailed out from US? Any thoughts are welcome

As it has been over a month you can check with FBI and get it mailed again to someone you know in US & Canada. Then you can get the colour scan from them. This will guarantee the delivery of the report.

But it can take upto 6 weeks for delivery of reports outside North America.
