PCC DECEMBER 2012 APPLICATION?

I have applied for PCC & DOB 2 weeks ago @ CGI. Still waiting..

I applied for PCC at VFS, Calgary for me and my wife to be processed at Vancouver jurisdiction. My timeline was:
Application submitted: 8 January, 2013
Processing started: 10 January
Processed: 14 January
Received: 21 January
Surprised how fast the processing was!!

I applied for DOB and PCC @ CGI 2 weeks ago and I received it today.
But my PCC has incorrect "date of issue" and they mentioned my mother's name instead of father's name.

Please advise what should I be doing now.

Go to cgi in person with this pcc and original passport. They should give you corrected pcc without any fee.

How did you get pcc in 2 weeks? Did uou followup with someone there?

I submitted on jan 15. Did not receive pcc yet. Just got certificate of DOB in 10 days.

Its my luck that I got the PCC in 2 weeks but the details are incorrect.

DO you know anyone who has been issued a PCC with incorrect details on it?

I have got the PCC in the below format from CGI:

There is no adverse information in respect of XXXXXX Son of XXXXX holder of Indian/Canadian Passport No. XXXXXX issued at XXXXX on DD.MM.YYYY which would render him/her ineligible for the grant of travelfacilities including visa for Canada.


I am a little confused as to why the PCC talks about Indian/Canadian passport when mine is just Indian passport...Is this the format for others as well?
